My hair is also thin...i use a bodifying cream mixed with a curl conditioner ( my hair is also stick str8), flip your head over and blow dry........AFTER brush it...works for me...

Ok...When i was like 9 I had the same problem...i had hair like down to my butt so i cut it to just below my shoulders and then when it grew back it was a lot thicker!!! Plus I loved the length!

blow dry you hair upside down. Use a round brush staring at the roots and bring it down
