Suggestions for good hairstyle on long thin hair for a 26 year old girl with kids?.?

Right now my hair is to my waist, but in need of a cut, It is currently all one length, and just looks blah. I do not want to chop it off short. I just want something easy to do if I go somewhere, or long enough to pull back. I wanted layers, but someone once told me that would look choppy since my hair is thin... Help please!!

Suggestions for good hairstyle on long thin hair for a 26 year old girl with kids?.?

I would consider short hair. My hair is thin and when it was long it looked limp and thin. I got it cut real short and now it doesn't look so thin anymore. go to a reputable salon and tell them the same thing and ask them what kind of cut would be best for you, and no, layers are not a good thing for thin hair, makes it look thinner.

What products should I use on my thin hair?

My hair is verrrry thin, but I have tons and tons of it (not in terms of length, but in the sheer number of strands of hair). My hair goes to several inches below my shoulder in two long layers. It also naturally waves.

I generally blow dry it in sections, but I currently use no product because my hair never keeps a style--nothing seems to work, no matter the product or style. I'm going to a cocktail party soon and have no idea what to do to my hair--or what to use to style it with. Suggestions?

What products should I use on my thin hair?

try products that add volume. speak with your hairdresser.

What products should I use on my thin hair?

volumizers and anti frizz

What products should I use on my thin hair?

A voluminizing shampoo will provide lift and a thickening or strengthening shampoo will...well, thicken and strengthen. Washing thin hair daily is a must because the oils on your head permeate your thin hair faster, making your seem oily and dirty faster. Plus those oils weigh your hair down and those with thin hair don't need that. As for the party, try washing your hair the day of the party and doing a classic, clean chignon or something. Spritz your hair a little bit with some no-frizz stuff and, if you want, try applying a voluminizing gel or serum as your are drying your hair. good luck and enjoy the party!

How to get thin ringlets for thin hair?

I have really really thin, straight hair which is very difficult to curl. How can I get wavy little ringlets like so: http://www.mcpasd.k12.wi.us/gcms/smoen/s...

????

Thank yoou!! (:

How to get thin ringlets for thin hair?

I have thin hair myself and this may make you feel like some old lady but, the best thing I have found for soft ringlet curls is those sponge rollers they sell them all over like drugstores and such, but if you decide to try them don't get them to small the medium or even large are best, the small ones will make you look like a poodle at least they did me. The only down side of the sponge rollers is you have to have them in either for several hours or you can sleep in them if you can comfortable, I eventually did and it's not so bad.

How to get thin ringlets for thin hair?

lots of hairspray and pomeade. good luck

How to get thin ringlets for thin hair?

When your hair is damp, crunch it in your hand. While it's crunched in your hand, blow dry it.

Or just use a curling iron.

I hope that helps.

Making a hump on thin/fine hair?

i need help on making a hump, but because i have thin hair my hump sometimes comes out weird and higher one side than the other, or the front is dented in and not round like it's supposed to be. Help On making a perfect hump?

Making a hump on thin/fine hair?

Do you mean backcombing? You just need to take a good EVEN section of the hair you want to tease (try making two straight, parallel parts and grabbing the hair from the middle, leaving some extra in front to cover the backcombed section), hold the hair up straight, stick a comb in, and comb in short strokes down towards your scalp, from the front of the hair section and from the back. When you're satisfied with the volume, spritz in some hairspray to hold it, and smooth the hair in front over the teased area gently.

I have hair which is growing thin day by day & lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

I have thin hair, and is falling off too much

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

Visit a dermatologist (skin specialist) for this problem. Meanwhile try oiling your hair regularly and them shampoo it. Brush your hair gently and never blow dry it.

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

Are you stressed. It sounds like it expecially if you hair is falling out all of a sudden. Hair usually falls out after some time after a stressful event. Decrease your stress level by exercise, mediation etc.

Are you eating a balance diet consisting of fruits and vegetables. If not, start. Take vitamins.

If that does not work, consider topical minoxidil.

Also, when you shower, make sure the shower is not too hot. If it is it could damage the hair and might cause it to fall out.

Finally, check if you have dandruff. Severe dandruff can cause hair loss. If so, treat it with nizoral or a zinc type of shampoo.

Good luck.

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

I am having this problem at the moment as well.

Wash hair in shower and clog up the drain pipe.

Comb hair after washing and it comes out in clumps.

I've put it all down to stress.

Keep cool ..... take care ..... say "Be damned with everything" .... and relax a bit more.

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

dont die it

cut it if its pritty long, the longer ur hair the heavyer it is the harder it is for ur head to hold but dont go to crazy on that and chop all ur hair off or make it as shot as possible

eat some more protein

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

Are you getting enough vitamins? Trust me they can help, they can make your hair, and nails stronger, thicker, and shinier.

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

I have about the same problem like you before. I dont know it might work out for you. Try this, when you wash your hair make sure all soap is gone. Apply condition to your hair. Sometimes you might need to change your shampoo.

Another way, Take seaweed. Seaweed is good for hair growth.

Good luck

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

Do not at all believe the person who says you are stressed. Yes it could be that but you are the only person who is going to know if you are or are not, not just some random person who hears hair falling out online. I have the same problem, it mostly falls out while taking a shower. This could be a factor of so many different things. It could just be that you have thin hair, or could be ralated to somthing else. Ask the doc, (I'm not exactly sure what kind though sorry).

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

Hair fall is caused mainly due to improper diet and sleeplessness. if you are neglecting your diet please do take balanced food . Please do sleep for 8-9 hrs a day . Do not bother about things much to avoid stress. Take good care of your hair by applying natural oil like coconut oil . Do not go out in hot summer . enjoy lot of sex , this will release if you have any residual stress . Do proper exercise . Eat lot of fruits and fresh vegetables. Avoid meats . Take fish in good quanity. Be a vegetarian (ecxept fish and eggs) .

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

Hair loss is also a sign of malnutrition

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

Thyroid problems can cause thinning hair and hair loss. If you can, check with your family about hereditary problems that might cause this. Also check with your regular doctor, he/she might be able to run some tests that will find out why.

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

A number of things can cause excessive hair loss. For example, about 3 or 4 months after an illness or a major surgery, you may suddenly lose a large amount of hair. This hair loss is related to the stress of the illness and is temporary.

Hormonal problems may cause hair loss. If your thyroid gland is overactive or underactive, your hair may fall out. This hair loss usually can be helped by treatment thyroid disease. Hair loss may occur if male or female hormones, known as androgens and estrogens, are out of balance. Correcting the hormone imbalance may stop your hair loss.

Some medicines can cause hair loss. This type of hair loss improves when you stop taking the medicine. Medicines that can cause hair loss include blood thinners (also called anticoagulants), medicines used for gout, medicines used in chemotherapy to treat cancer, vitamin A (if too much is taken) and antidepressants.

Finally, hair loss may occur as part of an underlying disease, such as lupus or diabetes. Since hair loss may be an early sign of a disease, it is important to find the cause so that it can be treated.

You therefore ought to first correct your medical condition for your hair loss. Even today, hair loss has been treated with local medication with a narrow understanding that it is not a local disorder but it needs to be treated with internal medicine by treating the root cause of your hair fall. Homoeopathy treats hair loss not from the scalp but from within by correcting the internal medical disorder.

Homeopathic medicines also act as a cushion while dealing with stress %26amp; helps the person to cope during the stressful conditions.

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

I have two suggestions for you.

1. Consult a good homeopath who will treat you constitutionally.

2. Mix mahabringaraj and awla oil in equal proportion and start applying. It will prevent hair fall, hair graying and also grow more hair.

I have hair which is growing thin day by day %26amp; lot of hair is falling off. What to do?

If we offered you a miracle remedy that cures "Hair Loss/Baldness" would you buy it? Certainly you would. You won閳ユ獩 find it in a Pharmacy but at the Grocery Store.

Try the Natural Cures for Hair Loss/Baldness.

Loss of hair at a very tender age has become a common disorder these days. It causes a great deal of concern to persons affected by loss of hair, especially Indian women who regard good hair growth with thick long hair as a sign of beauty. Hair is formed in minute pockets in the skin, called follicles. An up growth at the base of the folic, called the papilla, actually produces hair; when a special group of cells turn amino acids into keratin, a type of protein of which hair is made. The rate of production of these proteins " building blocks," determines hair growth. The average growth rate is about 1.2 cm per month, growing faster on women between the ages 15 and 30.

Causes: The most important cause of loss of hair is inadequate nutrition. Even a partial lack of almost any nutrient may cause hair to fall. Persons lacking vitamin B6 lose their hair and those deficient in folic acid often become completely bald. But the hair grows normally after the liberal intake of these vitamins. Another important cause of falling of hair is stress such as worry, anxiety, and sudden shock. Stress leads to a severe tension in the skin of the scalp. This adversely affects the supply of essential nutrition required for the healthy growth of the hair. General debility, syphilis, chronic cold, influenza, and anemia, also gives rise to this disorder. It makes the roots of the hair weak, resulting in the falling of hair. Unclean condition of the scalp can also cause loss of hair. It weakens the hair roots by blocking the pores with the collected dirt. Heredity is another predisposing factor which may cause hair to fall.

Treatment: The healthy condition of the hair depends, to a very large extent, on the intake of sufficient amounts of essential nutrients in the daily diet. Hair is made of protein and adequate protein is necessary for luxuriant hair. Women require 60 grams, men 80 to 90, adolescent boys and girls 80 to 100 grams of protein. It is supplied by milk, buttermilk, yogurt, soyabean, eggs, cheese, meat, and fish. A lack of vitamin A may cause the hair to be coarse and ugly. A deficiency of some of the B vitamins, of iron, copper, and iodine may cause hair disorders like falling of hair and premature greying.

Lack of inositol causes loss of hair. Any person having trouble with his or her hair should eat foods rich in inositol such as yeast, liver, and molasses. Research has, however, shown that women have a low requirement of inositol. Although this vitamin may help to stimulate the growth of a woman閳ユ獨 hair, its lack is probably not a major cause of slow growth. Women are generally deficient in iodine and vitamin B1, either of which can slow down circulation to the scalp to such an extent that hair may fall out and new hair grow in very slowly. Women who keep their diets adequate in iodine, the B vitamins and iron have a better growth of hair. According to Adelle Davis, a world famous nutritionist, "increasing the intake of protein, particularly of liver, wheat germ, and yeast, and supplementing the diet with a teaspoon of inositol daily usually stops a man閳ユ獨 hair from falling, and I have seen three or four persons whose hair became thick after these improvements were made." Persons with a tendency to lose hair should thus take a well-balanced and correct diet, made up of foods which in combination should supply all the essential nutrients. It has been found that a diet which contains liberal quantities of (i) seeds, nuts, and grains, (ii) vegetables and (iii) fruits would provide adequate amounts of all the essential nutrients. Each food group should roughly form the bulk of one of the three principal meals. These foods should, however, be supplemented with certain special foods such as milk, vegetable oils, honey, wheat germ, yeast, and liver.

Home Remedies: Several home remedies have been found useful in the prevention and treatment of the loss of the hair. The most effective among these remedies is a vigorous rubbing of the scalp with fingers after washing the hair with cold water. The scalp should be rubbed vigorously till it starts to tingle with the heat. It will activate the sebaceous glands and energies the circulation of blood in the affected area, making the hair grow healthy.

Amla oil, prepared by boiling dry pieces of amla in coconut oil, is considered a valuable hair tonic for enriching hair growth. A mixture of equal quantity of fresh amla juice and lime juice used as a shampoo stimulates hair growth and prevents hair loss.

Lettuce (salad-ka-patta) is useful in preventing hair loss through deficiencies. A mixture of lettuce and spinach juice is said to help the growth of hair if it is drunk to the extent of half a litre a day. The juice of alfalfa (lecerne) in combination with carrot and lettuce juice, taken daily also helps the growth of hair to a remarkable extent. The combination of these juices is rich in elements which are particularly useful for the growth of hair. While preparing alfalfa juice, the leaves of the plant only may be used when it can be obtained fresh.

Daily application of refined coconut oil mixed with limewater and limejuice on the hair, prevents loss of hair and lengthens them. Application of the juice of green coriander leaves on the head is also considered beneficial. Amaranth, known as chaulai-ka-saag in the vernacular, is another valuable remedy. Application of its fresh leaf-juice helps the growth of the hair and keeps them soft.

Mustard oil, boiled with henna leaves, is useful in healthy growth of hair. About 250 grams of mustard oil should be boiled in tinned basin. A little quantity of henna leaves should be gradually put in this oil till about 60 grams of these leaves are thus burnt in the oil. The oil should then be filtered through a cloth and stored well in a bottle. A regular massage of the head with this oil will produce abundant hair.

Another effective home remedy for loss of hair is the application of coconut milk all over the scalp and massaging it into the hair loss. It will nourish the hair and promote hair growth. The coconut milk is prepared by grinding the coconut shavings and squeezing it well. Washing the hair with a paste of cooked black gram dal, (urad dal), and fenugreek (methi) lengthens the hair. A fine paste made from pigeon pea or red gram (arhar dal ) can also be applied regularly with beneficial results on bald patches. Regular use of castor oil as hair oil helps the luxuriant growth of the hair.

Certain home remedies have also been found useful in case of patchy loss of hair. The seeds of lime and black pepper seeds, ground to get a fine paste, is one of the valuable remedies. This paste applied on the patches, has mildly irritant action. This increases blood circulation in the affected area and stimulates hair growth. The paste should be applied twice a day for a few weeks.

Another useful remedy for patchy loss of hair is the paste of liquorice (mulethi) made by grinding the pieces in milk with a pinch of saffron. This paste should be applied over the bald patches in the night before going to bed.

Hope this helps, Good Luck.

I have fine thin damaged hair that is about almost chin length but in many layers.?

I hate it. I looked better with long naturally curly hair. It's now straight, layered and short. Should I try to bear with it and let it grow?? I have a cruise to go on in 2 months that now I'm dreading. Or, should I get Great Lengths Extensions and risk my hair breaking more??? I'm obsessed with this and can't decide.

I have fine thin damaged hair that is about almost chin length but in many layers.?

you c an go to the store and get hair, skin, and nails pills.. it should lengthen and full out your hair... then when it gets pretty long cut to layer length and it will hopefully work.. sounds like sumthing i'd do or just keep it with the long layers..then you can curl or straighten

I have fine thin damaged hair that is about almost chin length but in many layers.?

Use Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner for dry and Damaged hair. This will help to keep it healthy. Just let it grow and keep it back in a pony tail! Also do not get your hair colored or get extensions! that is when your hair can break!

I want solution for my hair where my hair is thin, grey hair and very dry?

Your hair doesn't sound very healthy. I would reccomend a trip to a stylist or a hair dresser--they can tell just by looking what you might need!

In the meantime, try some leave-in conditioner; it makes your hair feel healthier and less dry.

Here is a good comparison site:

I want solution for my hair where my hair is thin, grey hair and very dry?

Pantene Pro has a variety of shampoo products and there is mostly likely a type that can help your thin and dry hair. As for the grayness, dying it would be the most typical solution. Salons can do this but the cost is usually very expensive. But there are a lot of inexpensive self-dying hair products in stores everywhere.

Maybe you need a new cut to make it fuller. Ask your stylist or maybe you shoudl try a new stylist. Mayb eyou would want to color it? Color adds shine, and depth and thickness to hair.

Why do chinese girls always have thin hair..?

I have reallly thick hair..and like all my family members have thin hair..is there away to make my hair thin somehow????..

Why do chinese girls always have thin hair..?

Well, you could get your hair cut and thinned professionally, which is what my friend who has very thick, unmanagable hair does. There is no way to make your hair "thin" or fine on your own.

How do you thin your hair? Can I do it myself at home? What would it look like? pictures please!?

NO you can't do it at home without being trained! Thinning shears in the hands of someone untrained can result in some butchered hair. If you don't know what you are doing - please leave it to a professional.

How do you thin your hair? Can I do it myself at home? What would it look like? pictures please!?

Get Thinning Sheers, and Yes you can do it at home. But, when i tried, i practically ruined it. So, if i were you, i would get it thinned somewhere. (even a walmart salon would work.) :D

How do you thin your hair? Can I do it myself at home? What would it look like? pictures please!?

You probably shouldn't do it by yourself, go to a hair salon and have a professional do it.

How do you thin your hair? Can I do it myself at home? What would it look like? pictures please!?

i do NOT reccomend doing it at home. you need thinning shears, but cheap ones are crappy. they range from$25- $125. pro salons have expensive good shears. it is totally worth it.

How do you thin your hair? Can I do it myself at home? What would it look like? pictures please!?

You can not thin your own hair, it has to be done by a pro. Thinning scissors are used to do the job. Go to a salon %26amp; browse through the styling books %26amp; hopefully you'll find a hairstyle, you'll like. Thinning the hair eliminates the bulkiness that can often make hairstyling difficult.

Trying for the scene look with thin hair...?

the scene look looks a lot better with black /dark brown hair w/ your hair color in small highlight in the bangs

do NOT cut it yourself

get it profesionaly done

and to make it look complete your gonna have to use dark eyemakeup

i can give tips on thati wear it myself

im like an expert :D

Trying for the scene look with thin hair...?

get your hair cut with layers, and get the hair dresser to use a razor, razor cutting creates a more uneven look, and then get some styling product, like pantene pro v texturizer...use that and fluff your hair up...it works great, and will create a fuller, chunky, messy look.

Trying for the scene look with thin hair...?

You need to get short choppy layers and its ok that your hair is thin because the reason her hair is so poofy is because its teased. so just tease your hair once its layered.

Cures for super thin hair??

I have got such thin hair! I try volumizers, but that doesn't seem to work for very long. Is there something that I can do to make my hair thicker?

Cures for super thin hair??

I have very thin/fine hair as well, and unfortunately there is no cure.

I'm not sure how long your hair is, but long layers are a definite plus.

Then, if you don't have these items, you may wanna stock up:

Blowdryer

Round Brush

Volumizing Mousse (Gel will weigh your hair down)

Thickening Shampoos/Conditioners/Sprays

If you don't have layers, try blowdrying your hair by flipping your hair over... it will dry the hair in an upward position adding a little extra volume.

Good luck sweetie! :)

Cures for super thin hair??

SHAVE IT OFF!!! SHAVE IT ALL OFF!!!!

Cures for super thin hair??

I had the same problem until the last time I went to a salon, the hair dresser said that I needed to get layers in my hair and it would thicken it up...I let her cut long layers and I use mouse after i wash and condition it and it really looks a lot thicker!

Cures for super thin hair??

volumizers would be the only answer, and you need to keep using them becuz of course they will wear off.

Cures for super thin hair??

I have thin hair too and I've noticed when I dye it, it plumps up the hair shafts and makes it look thicker for a few weeks. Teasing helps too - flip your headover and comb backwards and then flip your hair back - instant volume.

Cures for super thin hair??

i have very thin hair as well... i would suggest long layers infact im going to get my hair vut this afternoon... and also maybe we should try Progain... its rogain for women... its supposed to help thin or thinning hair...

I have really thin limp hair does anyone know any good products that can help me out?!?!?

well, ususally that's caused by touching ur hair too much

I have really thin limp hair does anyone know any good products that can help me out?!?!?

I have thin limp hair. I have it cut in layers which really lighten it up. I use a clarifying shampoo (white rain, extra body) which is very gentle but also removes any build-up. I use Suave mousse, to lift my roots, and I use Finesse bodifying conditioner which leaves it smooth, but light. Keep as much product out as possible. it weighs hair down.

I have really thin limp hair does anyone know any good products that can help me out?!?!?

got2b 2sexy voluptuous volume line works well and blow dry hair upside down

I have really thin limp hair does anyone know any good products that can help me out?!?!?

READY? Bring to the shower a box of baking soda, along with your shampoo and your conditioner if you use it. Get your hair really wet, put about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the baking soda in your hand along with the usual amount of shampoo, making sure you have the baking soda wet, splash a bit of water on this mixture rub between your hands and start shampooing, you are going to shampoo longer than usual....about 6-7 minutes....rinse out and condition. you only want to do this about once a month,As too much of a good thing can dry out your hair. I suggest this to my clients who have cruddy water, iron, lime etc. this will take out anything that is not supposed to be in your hair and may be dragging it down and making it limp. Otherwise a clarifying shampoo is in order....Suave even makes a good one, also Paul Mitchel Shampoo 3

I have really thin limp hair does anyone know any good products that can help me out?!?!?

If your hair is limp because of build up, use a clarifying shampoo more often.

A lot of people have naturally fine, limp hair. Try using gentle shampoos with proteins in them (Herbal Essences used to make a good one, but it's discontinued now) to strengthen the hair and vitamin E to plump the strands up. Use a light conditioner, like Suave or V05, and don't condition the roots. In Lucky magazine they said to shampoo every three days so that hair doesn't dry out. You can use a leave-in conditioner (try sprays instead of creams) instead of the rinse outs, too, for less weigh down. I hear the Anti-Flat cream from Sunsilk works well, too.

My daughter has thin curly hair which falls out alot and does not seem to grow alot. Any recommendat

Poor diet is a major cause of hair loss. Make sure she is eating enough fruits and vegetables (potatoes don't count as vegetables), drinking lots of water and staying away from processed, chemical-filled foods. When she washes her hair she should very gently massage the scalp area, and avoid washing in water that is too hot or too cold. Check to make sure that her hair elastics or hair accessories are not causing breakage (no metal!).

My daughter has thin curly hair which falls out alot and does not seem to grow alot. Any recommendations?

SHAVE HER HEAD BALD THAN YOU WONT HAVE THAT PROBLEM

My daughter has thin curly hair which falls out alot and does not seem to grow alot. Any recommendations?

I had the same problem many years ago and the docter had the perfect solution to keep my hair in......He gave me a small box.

My daughter has thin curly hair which falls out alot and does not seem to grow alot. Any recommendations?

Try steaming it with crushed avocado. It's a miracle worker

My daughter has thin curly hair which falls out alot and does not seem to grow alot. Any recommendations?

try using a shampoo for these kind of problems..you can find advices at a hair stylist!!! good luck !

My daughter has thin curly hair which falls out alot and does not seem to grow alot. Any recommendations?

If you can find it, Nioxin really does help with things like that, but it's a three step process, so it depends on how dedicated your daughter would be to using the product. Scalp massages would help activate the follicles, and could bring alive some of those dead areas. If the hair loss is quite bad, it would be good to ask the doctor for some medicinal recommendations.

My daughter has thin curly hair which falls out alot and does not seem to grow alot. Any recommendations?

shave her head. my sister had the same problem. when you shave it, it will grow back thicker, just like when men shave more grows back. Shave it multiple times until it grows back with the desired thickness. the younger she is the better.

How to make thin hair thicker.... without damage??

i have naturally thin hair and no matter what it doesn't want to volumize. ive tried dove %26amp; tresemmes %26amp; pantene-prov's volumizing shampoo %26amp; conditioner. what do you do to make straightened hair still have some OOMPH!?

How to make thin hair thicker.... without damage??

I have found that most thickening products cause little to no change. One natural way to help support thicker hair involves simple vitamin supplements. Sometimes vitamin deficiencies weaken the hair

While it is hard to get the thickening results that you want, there are ways to make hair appear and feel thicker without actually thickening it. Talk to a stylist about getting your hair cut in a way that provides more body, such as layering. Also, stopping conditioner use may help your hair appear thicker. Finally, you could always consider perming your hair. It may be a big change, but it would certainly provide the body you are looking for!

Hope that helps. :)

How to make thin hair thicker.... without damage??

don't get layers

wear a wig

How to make thin hair thicker.... without damage??

Okay so I used to have this problem. All you have to do is blowdry it and after that flip your head over and brush down from scalp to tips all over and flip back up and it will be big and beautiful. PS: Give it some shine and use Pantene Pro V Ice Glacial or something. It works =]

How to make thin hair thicker.... without damage??

try the product line Rene Furterer, it's a french line that specializes in scalp conditions and hair restoration as well as hair thickening. They are local distributors over the internet in the U.S.A. or just buy it online. It's really great!

Are there any hair removal products that would thin out hair after it regrows?

I have used Surgi-cream in the past and it will thin out your facial hair. I don't have to use it anymore. You can purchase it at Walmart. But be careful not to leave it on too long because it will irritate your skin. Good luck.

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

i always wear my hair in a bun (%26amp;%26amp; Never donw!) its gets messed up in like 5 mins!) how else should i wear my hair ( and besides a ponytail! THANK YOU!

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

if you can put it in a bun it's too long. It's not going to look good not matter what you do. Curl will fall out. Straight just looks stringy. See a stylist that can give you a good shorter cut that works well with your features. A little below chin length is probably as long as you should go, but shorter hairstyles are best for fine hair.

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

Have you tried a french plait fairly easy to do. or try pieces in it pony tail or twist or even down.

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

Hmm well probably the only thing you can do in under 5 minutes is scrunch it. What you do is after you get out of the shower with wet hair add mouse to it, bend over and grab your hair and scrunch it up to the scalp. Just grab it and push it up over and over and then put it in a high bun for a few minutes take it out and it will have those flirtatious locks that are gorgeous and fun! Good luck

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

You could try scrunching it, pulling half back into a ponytail, braiding it the night before and taking it out in the morning leaves it wavy, crimp it.....there's lots of things you can do

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

Yes, try braiding your hair. You should also probably leave it down at least two days a week, wearing your hair up can make it so the circulation in your head can stop flowing as good, and that can make your hair thinner.

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

braids, curls, rods, plat it and let it crimpple up get a hair style book or go to a hair dressor

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

my hair is a little thin and i got it layered around my face, about shoulder length, and its parted slightly to the side. It doesn't really tangle unless i'm really busy doing something or running around. Also, have you thought about curling it? I hope that helped! ^-^

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

You know babe I for one like women who just take care of themselves so when you wear your bun on your head is the meat under it fresh or rotten?

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

I searched for a good answer for you, and found one while looking at your avatar. I has not one ponytail (which you disqualified as an acceptable answer) but two ponytails.

Also, there is a hairdo that was popular years ago but I can't remember the name of it. It's an up do, with the hair pulled up toward the top of the head (not the crown). The hair ends at the top of the head I think were either curled or made into a small bun. From the temple area on each side of the head, a small curl would dangle in front of each ear. Sometimes small curls would be made to dangle around the nape also. It think it might (initially anyway) take more than 5 minutes to do though.

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

Same problem here. If your hair is long enough to wear in a bun than having thin hair only aggravates the situation!(lol) I hate to say it but the best thing is to have some layers cut in. The layers will take the weight out of your hair and give it some body. My shortest layer is chin length and it is still long enough to pull back if I need to. You will have a lot more diversity with styling.

Good Luck!

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

well wear it halway down or just like put your hair up in a clip its different or just curl it and even if it looks shitty when its down tyr to make it look cool or soemthing

I have thin hair and always wear it in a bun...?

have your hair cut just below your chin and layered to frame your face. that should give you more body and volume. and if that's not enough volume for you, have your hair highlighted.

Experiencec answers please - thin hair line on my tummy?

I am a girl and have a thin line of hair running up my belly button from my pants line.. Its grown darker as the years have gone by. Im wondering what i could do that wouldnt leave it worse than it is now (i.e stubbly, darker, more etc)

The only two proven ways of reducing or permanantly removing hair from any area is via electrolysis or laser hair removal.

Laser hair removal can result in reduction and possible permanent hair removal, but it is not 100% effective yet.

Electrolysis is not as painful as it sounds and is the only way to get permanent hair removal.

You must consult qualified people to have electrolysis or laser hair removal done, and the cost can be high, but it is worth it, as it is a one-time thing and you will never have to wax or shave again.

There are a few more alternatives (Non-permanent) to laser and electrolysis.

These include depillatory cream (Hard to use but generally quick and painless when it works - Lasts as long as shaving), bleaching (Bleach hair to white so it is 'invisible'), shaving (Which could lead to ingrown hairs), and waxing (Lasts fairly long, could also lead to ingrown hairs).

Experiencec answers please - thin hair line on my tummy?

Waxing DOES NOT increase the amount of hair. Wax away!

Good luck!

I have thin ,fine hair, what shortstyle cut would be good to make it look thicker ?

I have fine thin hair too.. Check out a layered look. It makes my hair look thicker...

I have thin ,fine hair, what shortstyle cut would be good to make it look thicker ?

I have thin hair too. I tried the short thing and hated it. I find that when my hair is all one length right around my shoulders is where it feels the thickest.

I have thin ,fine hair, what shortstyle cut would be good to make it look thicker ?

Remember the mullet hair stlye? To get your hair to lift, you cut it.

The top layer of hair is the length you want it and the next section below is a bit shorter, then the next is the length you want it. You use the thickness of the hair your have to support the hair you want.

CAN YOU THiN YOUR HAiR YOURSELF?

if so please tell me how

CAN YOU THiN YOUR HAiR YOURSELF?

No!!! it took me so much practice to learn how, thats why we go to beauty school, you need to go to a pro.

CAN YOU THiN YOUR HAiR YOURSELF?

i wouldn't try it because chances are you'll mess up your hair

no offense but everyone that is not a pro would

CAN YOU THiN YOUR HAiR YOURSELF?

i'm not sure how or if there is a way, but you sould prolly get it done professionaly so u dont mess up your hair.

CAN YOU THiN YOUR HAiR YOURSELF?

You will regret this in the future, when you actually have no hair:) youll need every strand

CAN YOU THiN YOUR HAiR YOURSELF?

get a layered cut

it will make it appear thinner

CAN YOU THiN YOUR HAiR YOURSELF?

Guess u must ve thick cur;y hair.

When i went to my hairstylist to thin my hair. She cut off the inner %26amp; below ones. Its quite difficult so i guess u better get a proffessional's help.

CAN YOU THiN YOUR HAiR YOURSELF?

I wouldn't try to.

if you mess up then you're pretty much screwed iuntil it grows back.

try if you want but i wouldn't recommend it. justt go to a hairdresser and have it done right.

CAN YOU THiN YOUR HAiR YOURSELF?

You can thin your hair by going to see stylist to layer it. It will create great style and yet, look good better than you do it urself. Because you may not see all the angle at possible position you are twisting ur scissor or brush.

CAN YOU THiN YOUR HAiR YOURSELF?

You could, but you can cause serious damage yourself. Go to someone and they'll give you a cut that will help it. Being that I'm going to school to this I shouldn't tell you but I grew up with really thick hair so I will. The worst way but easiest way is to use a razor. But just imagine what this can do to your hair. If you do then make sure you use a really good conditioner to help treat your hair.

CAN YOU THiN YOUR HAiR YOURSELF?

thinning scissors! works every time!

CAN YOU THiN YOUR HAiR YOURSELF?

You have 2 options for thinner hair.

1. Straighten it. (This only makes it look thinner because it tames your hair and tames frizzyness which often makes hair look bulky.

2. Having It thinned out. To have your hair thinned out, the stylist might or might not use THINNING SHEARS. (Not everyone will agree with the use of thinning shears, I personally HAVE used them and I haven't had a problem. They allow you to thin down the bulky-ness of your hair without changing the style. If you do decide to try this, make sure you do some research online about it and how to use it. Hope this helped.

How do I get my fine thin hair to do anything but lay there?

I want to be able to do more things with my hair, but I don't even know where to start. It has two styles right now, ponytail or down and straight. I would love to be able to style it in really cute styles. It is a little below my shoulders and thin. (Not thinning, but thin)

How do I get my fine thin hair to do anything but lay there?

I have the same problem. There are a couple of things you can do.

Get your hair cut in a layered style. That helps to add volume.

Use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner. I like Herbal Essences Body Envy, but there are lots of possibilities. Keep trying different ones until you find one that works.

Use a styling mousse. I use Pantene extra fullness mousse, but (again) there are other possibilities out there.

Obviously, be careful about how you dry your hair. A round brush, drying from the roots works best for me.

And a curling iron helps.

There are some styles neither of us is ever going to be able to use, but these things have helped me. It used to be that I couldn't keep a curl in my hair more than about an hour. Nowadays, it lasts pretty much all day (unless the humidity is too high or I get caught in the rain - then all bets are off).

How do I get my fine thin hair to do anything but lay there?

Maybe you could get a curling iron.....

How do I get my fine thin hair to do anything but lay there?

Have fun with your hair, tease the heck out of it! =) Then spray %26amp; comb.

How do I get my fine thin hair to do anything but lay there?

Hmmm, if you have a smaller (1 inch size) flat iron, you could curl your hair with it. Use the flat iron like scissors curling ribbin in your hair, the looseness of the curl the tightness (better yet, lack of tightness) of the pull.

Good luck, I do this to my hair all the time and it creates pretty waves

How do I get my fine thin hair to do anything but lay there?

well i have curly frizzy crazy hair and we are total opposites so this is what i suggest wash your hair first with a volume enhancer any brand u want therer is many tressme etc. i luv tressme lol than spray your hair with a curly enhancher i forgot the name of the brand it works well on many students in my class than braid your hair in many many tight tight braids if your hair is really dead you can wrap your hair or just leave it like that let it dry than go to bed so it has a better chance of being wavy or if so curly take out the braids and spray texture hairspray into it and scrunch tease whatever it will be beachy wavy since your hair if dead the curling iron probally ur hair wont hold the curly for long so do this beachy routine regular if u wash your hair every day or if u dont just put it in braids and dont wet it or else poof it will go down when u do this regularly your hair gets use to this you can try hairstyles:

the hump take the front piece of ur hair and pin ir back with bobby pins or a cute creative pin whatever

pony tail with some strand out in the front but dont mess up ur waves

messy bun

pecock bun (a bun with some hair sticking out)

side pony tail

loose with a head band

a cute flower pin too add a beachy look

contact me if u need more help just here to help bye!! =]

I have thin, dry hair. i want it to look more healthy. what kind of shampoo/conditioner would be goo

omg, NOOOO Patene, ever! This is total ****, it is LOADED with alcohol and will make the problem worse over time. Get Joico K-Pak shampoo and conditioner, great for dry/damaged hair, and is good for colored hair too. Or, my second fav is Phyto Organics Theratin and Humectin shampoo/conditioner, great for thin, yet dry hair.

If you don't buy these, then please don't buy anything from a retail/drug store because they will just make your dry hair worse.

Also, if your hair is frizzy, or lacking shine, get the Silk Infusion oil from CHI, apply when your hair is wet, and blow dry. This will make your hair sillky smooth and really shiny, not to mention, over time it will make it healthier because it is loaded with vitamins.

I have thin, dry hair. i want it to look more healthy. what kind of shampoo/conditioner would be good it?

pantene shampoo 2 in 1

I have thin, dry hair. i want it to look more healthy. what kind of shampoo/conditioner would be good it?

I recommend Herbal Essence, because depending on what hair you have they have just the shampoo you need! Your hair gets healthier because it's totally natural shampoo and it's smells great! I have baby-fine hair and it worked wonders on me! Try it!

I have thin, dry hair. i want it to look more healthy. what kind of shampoo/conditioner would be good it?

u can use loreal professional shampoo for damaged hair along with its conditioner.but dont emulsify the conditioner on roots.as it is done with the shampoo.besides u can use olive oil massage or coconut oil massage.keep it all night on ur hair and wash it in the morning with the shampoo stated above.avoid blowing dry of ur hair.it adds to dryind of hair.dnt use comb on wet hair.comb them after thy have being towel dried thoroughly.

I have thin, dry hair. i want it to look more healthy. what kind of shampoo/conditioner would be good it?

you can use the special pantene or dove shampoo but if you go to the drugstore and but vitamins or iron, it should help a lot just take 1 vitamin a day with a big glass of water on a kinda full stomache (just enough for the glass of water)so ur kidneys dont get damaged. remember take ! or take what the pharmasist suggests!!!

I have thin, straight hair that just won't lie down, it always stays up - what can I do to keep

I heard that a comb and a hairdryer could be used. Any ideas?

I have thin, straight hair that just won't lie down, it always stays up - what can I do to keep it down?

gel?

I have thin, straight hair that just won't lie down, it always stays up - what can I do to keep it down?

hot comb

I have thin, straight hair that just won't lie down, it always stays up - what can I do to keep it down?

keep gel on your hair

I have thin, straight hair that just won't lie down, it always stays up - what can I do to keep it down?

gel it ...then put on a hairnet...for a while

I have thin, straight hair that just won't lie down, it always stays up - what can I do to keep it down?

I am a cosmetologist, and that is one of the hardest haircuts to deal with. The best thing for you to do is to get some volumizing shampoo and conditioner, and then add some gel to it before you blow dry it. Ohhh Yeah... make sure it is volumizing gel, and then blow dry it with a brush not a comb, because sometimes a comb will create static electricity and cause your hair to lift up defeating the purpose. Good luck!!!

I have thin, straight hair that just won't lie down, it always stays up - what can I do to keep it down?

I am a hair dresser.

first off the lenght of your hair is a big deal if its too short chances are your going to have to use a smoothing cream, dont ever use gel if you want a soft layed down look, it will make it look sticky and unnatural.

and training your hair with a hair dyer will work for the long run ,as your use it point the hair dryer down, dont use as you would normally, remember your training it too lay the way you want!

good luck!

I have thin, straight hair, and want to do it curly without it going flat at the top. Any tips??

my hairs just like yours, and the best way to get it curly depends on whether you wash your hair at night b4 you go 2 bed, or id you do it in the morning.

night b4: when your hairs a still a bit damp, but not soaking wet, put it in pig tails, and then twist each pig tail into a bun. put an elastic over each 1 to hold them in place. you'll look like pricess laya but who cares?! in the morning, take them out and sererate the two giant curls with your fingers. use volumising mousse to hold in the curls. put your head upside down and blow dry the rootsfor lift. put abit of hairsray in

morning. dry your roots upside down and use mousse/hairspray. use a big barrel curler.

the night one looks more complicated but it saves soooo much time in the morning, and once you get used to the buns, you can do them in seconds.

I have thin, straight hair, and want to do it curly without it going flat at the top. Any tips??

One word..."WIG"

I have thin, straight hair, and want to do it curly without it going flat at the top. Any tips??

Layer cut so that it is shorter on top and can hold smaller curls closer to your head and around the face.

I have thin, straight hair, and want to do it curly without it going flat at the top. Any tips??

if u want to create curls beginning with wet or damp hair, have u tried curling mousse thats non-drying-alcohol free. also before hand, dont use conditioner that weighs hair down. try a lite one that gives lift and volume w/o being greasy. if none works then only condition the ends. but use a good hydrating/moisturizing shampoo first. Alternatives:try curling shampoos and conditioners

I have thin, straight hair, and want to do it curly without it going flat at the top. Any tips??

Try washing it at night and adding a little bit of mousse when it's still damp. It should hold curl a little bit better the next morning.

I have thin, straight hair, and want to do it curly without it going flat at the top. Any tips??

if your hair is layered you have a better chance of getting the curls to hold... but before you blow dry it put some volumizing mousse on the roots to help have body... as for keeping the curls... if your hair usually can't keep them then LOTS OF HAIRSPRAY is your best bet... good luck

How do i enhance my thin hair?

i have thin hair, and took several steps to make it look thicker. i got layers in my hair, bought herbal esenses volumizing shampoo and mousse. so far it has been working well, but what else can i do to make my hair look thicker, and stay thicker? (for those who want to know: i have blonde hair)

How do i enhance my thin hair?

I went to the salon and my hair stylist used this mousse-like creme in my hair. It's called After-Party by Bedhead. After washing your hair, rub a pump of it on your hands and then run your hands through your hair. (then blowdry your hair upside down). After-Party also makes my hair less tangled!

How do i enhance my thin hair?

Highlights or low lights will make your hair look fuller.

How do i enhance my thin hair?

buy pantene pro-v thickening and volumizing shampoo and conditioner

How do i enhance my thin hair?

Who need fat hair?

How do i enhance my thin hair?

a perm is also a good to make thin hair fuller. opt for the kind that you use with a hot iron. its okay to do it once or twice a week. too much and it will fry your hair.

How do i enhance my thin hair?

Try Biotin 1000mcg, its an awesome vitamin and gives you thicker hair. It also helps with your skin.

How do i enhance my thin hair?

Try formula 101A. I used that a long time ago when my hair seemed to be really thin, and I actually had tons of hair growing in just a week! It was made for guys, and it takes around 6 months for them to get new hair to grow, although it DID stop their hair from falling out almost immediately. I tried it too, and started freaking out after 3 days, 'coz I didn't know what I had on my head - some weird feeling little things. I asked a friend to check it out, and she starts laughing 'coz it was not a disease - it was a short carpet of brand new hair! I only used it for a month many years ago, just to get thicker hair, and up to now I still haven't needed to use it again. The only drawback to this product is that some people can't stand the smell! (Oh yeah, I did NOT use this after my morning shampoo like the bottle said to do - I used it right before bedtime, and shampooed it out the morning after)

How do i enhance my thin hair?

I have baby fine hair as well, I had my hair cut in layers just like you did. To give it some volume when you blow dry use a round brush(ceramic is best) %26amp; flip your ends out. When you get to your last layer(the shortest layer) curl your hair under instead of out. This look is soo cute %26amp; it makes your hair appear fuller.

Another way to get your hair to look thick %26amp; full is to set your hair in rollers, you can use either hot rollers or the regular onse(I use the velcro ones on semi wet hair %26amp; let them air dry to help cut down on thermal damage). Once your hair is set(or dry if you're doing it on wet hair) remove the rollers %26amp; gently comb them out. What you're left with is loads %26amp; loads of volume.

How do i enhance my thin hair?

No one really ever believes this but for almost any problem, when it comes to hair, can easily be solved by not washing it often. Wash your hair every two to three days. Have it trimmed in the layers about every three months. When brushing your hair brush it backwards then brush it forwards until all the knotts are out then brush it backwards again making sure all the knotts are out. Then style it the way you want it. This will not just make it look thicker it will get thicker.

How do i enhance my thin hair?

You should tey the Nioxin Thinning Hair System. While you are in the shower you apply this to your scalp and massage after you shampoo. It's a great product and it contains a lot of vitamins in it.

How do i enhance my thin hair?

It's a known fact that if the hair is shorter with a blunt type of cut, it will look thicker. Also, maybe try a deeper color on your hair with some highlights. Go to a professional to have this done. They can often give you some tips as this is their speciality. Have a friend recommend someone they trust or if you see someone with a really nice cut, ask who does their hair. The cut and color can make all the difference.

I have thin, weak hair. how can i make it seem thicker?

plz dont post answers that recommend products, because i usually dont have time to apply them, and i dont go shopping very often

I have thin, weak hair. how can i make it seem thicker?

Try substituing your diet with more protein, zinc and b-vitamins. I know there are some other things, but I can't think of them right now. Is this hereditary? Or has this happened because of some cause?

I have thin, weak hair. how can i make it seem thicker?

well if you don't have time for products the only thing I can thing of suggesting is to blowdry your hair upside down...starting by the back of your neck..and tease it a little

I have thin, weak hair. how can i make it seem thicker?

Shave It It Off And Use Conditionair

I have thin, weak hair. how can i make it seem thicker?

(pull back your other hair while doing it) and down brush out brush down.. then use hair spray .. just a little... then brush it out, that way it doesn't leave it stiff

I have thin, weak hair. how can i make it seem thicker?

at your favorite drug store, in the hair section, look for Rogaine, its in a pink box, it will do it for you, it will cost about $40...and will last for about 6 months... sometimes we have to make extra effort, but if it is because you are on a fix income..put a egg in a glass of water after you wash your hair, this will act as a conditioner, wash out, when dry use a little oil,on the strands, let stay, do not sleep in silk scarves...

I have thin, weak hair. how can i make it seem thicker?

In the girl's life magazine it recommends to back comb your hair. you can also use lightweight mouse to increase the volum. For odinary days, flip your head over and blowdry your hair.

I have thin, weak hair. how can i make it seem thicker?

Cut it! If your hair is very long the length weighs it down-try a shorter cut or layers around your face- it wont look as thin- you probably have a lot of hair or more so than it appears. Try flipping your hair upside down and blow drying that way or just a few squirts of hairspray on the roots. It doesn't have to take a long time- just a minute or two. If your hair is straight sponge curlers are great for adding volume, just take a min or two and you can sleep on them comfortably.

I have thin, weak hair. how can i make it seem thicker?

I have thin, straight hair. Lately, it has been very dry and dull. Help?

You have a few options, really. :)

Conditioning treatments are a good idea, whether you do it at home or go to a salon.

If you were to do it at home, shampoo and towel dry your hair.

Gently comb through it and then apply a rich, moisturising conditioner.

Cover your hair with a shower cap and wait 10-15 minutes.

When you've washed your hair out, your hair should seem more nourished and shiny. :)

If you don't have time for that, try washing your hair first when you're in the shower and leaving your conditioner on whilst you wash your body.

When blowdrying your hair, make sure you hold the hairdryer so you're blowing the hair downwards. When you blowdry hair upwards, the cuticles on your hair all stand on end, which makes the hair appear really dull.

If you're looking for products to wear during the day, I'd reccommend a leave in conditioner, suitable for dry hair.

I did a bit of research and "Goldwell Kerasilk Ultra Rich Silk Fluid" came up, which specialises for dry/dull hair, but if you go to a chemist, you're bound to find numerous leave in conditioners which will get your hair looking gorgeous in no time! :)

Good luck, and hope I helped. :)

I have thin, straight hair. Lately, it has been very dry and dull. Help?

Use Tresemme moisturising shampoo and conditioner, because it works.

I have thin, straight hair. Lately, it has been very dry and dull. Help?

the best thing that I have found is Pantine Shampoos and conditoners, they have alot of protein and mosteizer, also a oil treatment like vo5 hot helps as well

I have thin, straight hair. Lately, it has been very dry and dull. Help?

Try to put less shampoo in it.It takes the naturual oils out.Put a dime size conditinair in,and dont use any hot iron or curlers. It kills the hair folicles.Dont get your hair wet much either.Or try to buy pink lotion[moisturizing hair lotion for all times of hair]hope it helped=]]]

I have thin hair? What will make it look good.?

I have short thin honey blond hair. What styles and products would make it look good?

I have thin hair? What will make it look good.?

The BEST way to get and maintain volume is not in the specific styling product, but in the method of use. Any texturizing or volumizing gel or rootlifter can work if used properly. I recommend Biolage styling gel or Big Sexy Hair rootlifter to be put in hair before blowdrying. Make sure you get product on the roots of your hair where the volume is need, but don't go overboard as too much product can cause your hair to be weight down.

After applying the product, blow dry your hair while lifting from the roots. You can do this by using a vent round brush or by bending at the waist so your hair is upside down.

When your hair is dry, hit it for a few seconds with the cool setting on your blowdryer to set the style.

After drying, style as usual. More volume can be obtained by rolling hair with velcro rollers and setting them with a blowdryer or by using a curling iron to lift the roots futher.

If you do want to flat iron your hair, try to avoid the roots as they tend to flatten hair at the crown, which gets rid of the volume that you blow dried into your hair.

I have thin hair? What will make it look good.?

Easy. Try straightening it. I know that sounds dumb, since ur hair is probably straight, but us a thin flatiron. Curl your hair around the iron, and hold at the ends.. Spray with a natural curling spray. Clip ur bangs to the side of ur head above ur ear (if u have bangs) with a sparkly clip and tada! insta gorgeous! if u want a straight look, try the same straightener with a little bit of gell on the tips of ur hair to hold in moisture and keep out frizz. Also I would suggest layers... Have fun styling!

also wearing little clips in your hair would look cute too! or like those sparkly ones w/ diamonds or w/e....the gems don't have to be real! 閳绢櫘ope it helped

Real Hair Solutions for Thin, Flat Hair

Thin flat hair can a very disturbing problem. You might have one of those perfect faces that looks great with hair lying perfectly flat but that would be the exception. In our culture thick hair is a sign of youth and vitality. If we are born with hair that is fine and soft in texture, it will tend to appear thin and flat.

We are born with the genetic disposition to produce a certain number of hair follicles and the use of salves and preparations will not increase that number.

There are, however, techniques to make the most of the hair we have.

First of all there are shampoos that will cause the hair to appear to have more body. An extra cleansing or clarifying shampoo will free the hair from any oils or leftover styling products that cling to the hair and cause it to be heavy. This type of shampoo should be used no more than once a week,

At all other times use a volumizing shampoo formulated to thicken each strand with the use of polymers.

Long or color treated hair will require a conditioner. Use a light conditioner formulated for fine hair. Apply the conditioner to the ends of the hair only. The root area of the hair rarely needs conditioning.

In styling, use a mousse or volumizing gel that is formulated for fine hair. The addition of a root lifter is also helpful. Sprayed on at the root of the hair this product will give extra body and lift.

Stay away from the use of products that are used to increase shine as they often contain silicone, weighing the hair down.

The effectiveness of any product you use will depend on how you dry your hair. The hair must be lifted up off the scalp. Using a vent brush to lift the hair up rather than brushing it can do this. It can also be achieved by brushing the hair in the opposite direction from which it falls. Finally, and probably the easiest if you have long hair is to turn your head upside down and dry the hair until just the ends are damp. In all of these techniques, dry the root area of the hair first.

A little backcombing in the crown provides a longer lasting style.

Finally finish your style with a light hairspray. Use it only where needed such as around the face, on the backcombing before smoothing it and lightly over the top.

I have really straight thin hair, i want puffer and thicker hair, wat should i do?

put braids in it and take them out within a week dont wash ur hair. that should do it. or u can wash it put gel and then tease it.

I have really straight thin hair, i want puffer and thicker hair, wat should i do?

I have the same problem try blow drying your hair upside down and through out the day flip your hair and straighten it and flip it back up really quick don't try and brush it out to much after this.

I have really straight thin hair, i want puffer and thicker hair, wat should i do?

I use sunsilk anti-flat products. (orange bottles) I add the volume creme and then dry my roots. Then I tease the roots. It will look a little wierd at first, but after you brush it your hair will look amazing!

Haircut ideas of long, thin hair?

I have very fine/thin nearly waist-length hair, and am hoping to find a style that's a little shorter, but still works with my face and personality. I have a long/rectangular face, so anything too short looks really bad. Also, I'm not too into styling my hair every morning (I'll throw it in a hair tie before I bother to spend 20 minutes styling) so I need something that requires only a couple of minutes of daily styling time.

Thanks!

Haircut ideas of long, thin hair?

i say go for about 4 inches below shoulder length [so its still has length, but is a lot shorter] and get layers, feathery layers if you want more volume [longer layers will not add as much volume] and i like the idea of side swept bangs,or maybe try something daring and get straight bangs.(:

Haircut ideas of long, thin hair?

well, firstly get your self down to a good - fashionable hair dressers and ask the stylist what he can do to give you more volume.

He/she will probs layer and feather it.

then u can add moose to ur roots :D

im sorry im not much help

godbless

Haircut ideas of long, thin hair?

go for something shoulder length with bangs and part it to the side

Haircut ideas of long, thin hair?

i have very fine hair with a similar face shape also, the best cut is just above the shoulders with a few different lengths to texturise the hair, this also makes your hair appear thicker and try a hair thickening shampoo and conditioner, i find they really work but you'll also need a texturising spray to control the shape and cut without weighing the cut down.

Is perm good for my thin black hair?

I have thin hair is it good 2 perm is or will it make my hair look even thinner and make it look like i barely have hair on my head?

Is perm good for my thin black hair?

sperm is a no no!!!!!!!! pedo i should report u

Is perm good for my thin black hair?

Ask a professional stylist. All I can say is that I've had perms, and as long as you go to a stylist, it would be worth a shot. The newer perms are pretty good. I've had "ISO" permanents.

Is perm good for my thin black hair?

depend on your hair type. i suggest you not to do it

Is perm good for my thin black hair?

Get a weak perm like a Just For Me perm and see what the result is. If your hair does look thin there are easy ways to style it to make it look thicker.

Is perm good for my thin black hair?

no it wont be a good idea. and i know for those who have thin hair, the perm doesnt usually last long. it will straighten with time. a lot of maintainence has to be done in order to keep it in its original lustre. so i would suggest not to perm it... if you want, make it wavier, but i strongly suggest not perming it.

Very thin, limp hair what is a good hair cut for this type of hair I really don't want to short

HI! I think a layered more frisky look would look GREAT on you! It would give you more of an edgy look and would make your hair look fuller and more thick! Hope I helped!

Very thin, limp hair what is a good hair cut for this type of hair I really don't want to short.?

Try layering or Sunsilk Volume

Very thin, limp hair what is a good hair cut for this type of hair I really don't want to short.?

well def not too long.....proly around shoulder length....also try using products like hair spray ....i have very thick hair and when i use cheap hair spray it always makes it look fuller so if you have limp hair it might do the trick for you

I have a high forehead and thin hair, would side swoop bangs look good?

I have thin hair, and I have a high forehead and I was thinking about getting side swoop bangs. What is your opinion?

I have a high forehead and thin hair, would side swoop bangs look good?

with thin hair you have to be careful.

if you're out on a hot day or just in a warm area and your forehead starts to sweat (mine tends to a lot) then thin bangs tend to get all wet and stick to your forehead.

Also, i'm not sure if this is a problem with you, but if your hair is even a little oily and your skin is prone to acne, then you may have an acne problem on your forehead. i always clip my bangs back at bedtime to prevent it.

So if you do end up getting side bangs...

i'm sure it'll look great, side bangs look good on almost everyone. :) just tell your hairdresser to make your bangs a little thick so that they look full, clean, and beautiful.

good luck!

:-)

I have a high forehead and thin hair, would side swoop bangs look good?

Yup, me and my mom both have high foreheads and side swept bangs and it helps a ton :P

I have a high forehead and thin hair, would side swoop bangs look good?

yes that would be good to hide your forehead. thats how i have my bangs right now.

and yeah, that chick is really hot :]

How can I get this kind of hair when it's flat and thin?

there is a girl at my school with hair like the second grouping of pictures... she teases her hair up with a comb and then uses like half a can of hairspray on it everyday. For homecoming, she got extensions on the bottom and it looked just like the pictures so I say just go for a lot of hairspray!

How can I get this kind of hair when it's flat and thin?

well the black hair one were extentions and if u want it to be flat, get ure hair thinned.

How can I get this kind of hair when it's flat and thin?

I'm sorry you want hair like that. You should really keep it natural and REAL. But if you insist on having it, print the pics and take it to a stylist who is HIGHLY experienced and will tell you all the steps to acheiving that grotesque look. Oh, and you will more than likely have to cut your hair.

How can I get this kind of hair when it's flat and thin?

go see a professional hair dreser

my sisters hair is like that and it worked for her!!

answer my question?

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

How can I get this kind of hair when it's flat and thin?

try gettin a few shorter layers so it will puff better i did that last year before i cut it off and it helps.. then you can buy this stuff call tease in a can .. hold your hair up and spray if hold it up for like 5 seconds and then mess it up a lil and it will be all puffy then you can get like a comb and just tease the crap out of it and you will be lookin just about like that no lie!

How can I get this kind of hair when it's flat and thin?

save your pennies and go get extensions done. I want hair like yours flat and fine. Mine is thick and coarse, I'd love to be able to wash it and leave it. hope you get that look your after Good Luck!!!

How can I get this kind of hair when it's flat and thin?

Ok 1 shut up you don't know what you are talking about.

2 she probly cut her own hair.

3 your going to abe look at as a wemo - emo wannabe or a scene wanna be ok your face isn't right for it the cut will be expensive and in thwe end you won't know how to style so stfu and get over honey oh and the stylist will give one lok and say huh?

The hair is nothing without the make up and as in the 2 pictur showed me you can't do the make up sorry to be cruel

How can I get this kind of hair when it's flat and thin?

In my opinion the big hair is too big and too thick. If you think you want thick hair think about it some. Here are some reasons why:

1. It is sometimes really hard to sleep with unless you put it up at the top of your head which can hurt a little from pulling it all up.

2. It is REALLY hard to take care of in the morning. TRUST ME! It is no day in the park.

3. You always wanna cut it all off and have short hair.

You can if you really want it but you should think to weather you want to take that risk or not.

Hope I Helped!!!

What is the best sew in hair extension clips for thin hair?

I wear the clip in hair extensions and the clips do not grab the hair very well as my hair is thin. I'm constantly adjusting them and, after a while, they pinch. Can someone please recommend where I can buy some good sew in clips for thinner hair or any tips on how I can get the clips to stay in. I am desperate!!!! thanks

What is the best sew in hair extension clips for thin hair?

1st of all make sure the clips you are using have the rubber grip on them. When I put mine in, I tease my hair at the root just a bit and spray with hairspray then I put the clip in...Just as good as gluing it in.

What is the best sew in hair extension clips for thin hair?

American Dream at Lovehairextentions.com are good extensions. To keep them in better, tease the peices of hair you put them on. Which basically means comb the peice of hair backwards and stick the extension in the keep it in there better.

Does dark red hair with really blonde thin highlights look good?

I want to dye my hair red, but not too red tho. maybe like dark burgundy red, i was wondering if it looks good with really blonde thin highlights???

or do you guys have any other coloring suggestions on combination of any base color and any highlights?????

Does dark red hair with really blonde thin highlights look good?

keep it red, and no blonde if u do that.....it wouldnt look funny....ummmm light golden browne and really blonde go together, so that might work

Does dark red hair with really blonde thin highlights look good?

go with a golden blonde so it looks like a gold color it is very dramatic and stunning

Does dark red hair with really blonde thin highlights look good?

I knew a lady who had curly, auburn (but not burgundy) hair and she had light blonde streaks. It was SO GORGEOUS.

But I think burgundy is too purplish for that look.

Does dark red hair with really blonde thin highlights look good?

A lot of my clientele are redheads, natural or otherwise, and the rule of thumb is this: go with the opposite color family. If you want to do a cool-toned red(burgundy, wine, eggplant, etc) you need a warm toned highlight, like a gold or light caramel shade. Anything too blonde or white-toned with make the overall result appear muted pink. Ick. Like wise, warm reds(coppers, brick reds, intense reds) look better with icy or creamy blonde highlights, so it doesn't get too brassy and brings out the depths of the shades more.

If you're going at it at home, or need a general idea of what you need, try a 4 or 5RV(red violet), and an 8 CG(copper gold) or 8RB(strawberry blonde) highlight.

Happy coloring!

Does dark red hair with really blonde thin highlights look good?

It will look REALLY unnatural, but then again if your redhair will probably look unnatural too, if you want it, go for it.

Does dark red hair with really blonde thin highlights look good?

no it wont look good
