I have thin, straight hair that just won't lie down, it always stays up - what can I do to keep

I heard that a comb and a hairdryer could be used. Any ideas?

I am a cosmetologist, and that is one of the hardest haircuts to deal with. The best thing for you to do is to get some volumizing shampoo and conditioner, and then add some gel to it before you blow dry it. Ohhh Yeah... make sure it is volumizing gel, and then blow dry it with a brush not a comb, because sometimes a comb will create static electricity and cause your hair to lift up defeating the purpose. Good luck!!!

first off the lenght of your hair is a big deal if its too short chances are your going to have to use a smoothing cream, dont ever use gel if you want a soft layed down look, it will make it look sticky and unnatural.

and training your hair with a hair dyer will work for the long run ,as your use it point the hair dryer down, dont use as you would normally, remember your training it too lay the way you want!

good luck!
