id say go for layers, people with thin hair always look nice with layers, it kinda gives it volume - that's what a hairstylist said for my friend anyway. also, you can try using mousse to add some volume, or any kind of volumizer, it might make it look bigger.

My hair is the same, and I have found that layers only make it worse. I know that doesn't make sense, but if your hair is extremely thin like mine, then you won't even notice the layers. I suggest keeping it above the shoulders. The longer it gets, the thinner it gets towards the ends and you get that ratty trailer trash look (it's the only way I can think to describe it, not offense meant to anyone!). Basically, the shorter you make it, the thicker it will work. At least that has been my personal experience anyways.

mine is the same. i keep it a blunt cut, just at shoulder length, and long bangs to the side, and a part more on the left. that helps to hide the thinning part in the middle.

i use the morrocco method shampoo (when i can afford it) bc it thickens my hair with no chemicals.
