What can I do to make sure my hair won't thin excessively when I am older?

you could always use products that give volume and avoid dying and excess blow drying/straightening. (i can already tell my hair is a bit thinner after all this dying and straightening i do to my own hair) ...i worked in coffee shops for about three years now and i haven't been told anything about it being a cause of thin hair, then again there's not very much that IS good about it either..hope this helps!

Don't put any strain on your hair, such as wearing it in ponytails, growing it long, etc....
